Kingfisher

First offered in 1998, the John Milner Kingfisher centerpin reel is a handmade, open-faced float fishing reel that is enjoyed all over the world. From the fast flowing rivers of Canada’s West Coast, to the slower moving waters in the Great Lakes region, the Kingfisher fishing reel can be found in the hands of discriminating.

Manx

Indulge yourself with this elegant centerpin fishing reel of classic design. Limited to a run of only 99 reels, the John Milner Manx float reel blends time-honored manufacturing techniques with modern function. The Manx fishing reel brings joy to even fishless days on the river. The Manx centerpin reel is offered in: 4” diameter left.

The Big E

This lightly frame ported Kingfisher special has established itself as a permanent member in our family of reels. This reel is a base priced Kingfisher having a number of popular custom options at no additional charge. The Big E centerpin reel is offered in: 5” diameter left- or right-hand retrieve high-precision ABEC-7 ball bearings standard.

Snipe

The Snipe is a robust, sleek, workhorse reel that is designed and constructed around the architecture of the Kingfisher. Giving John a head start with the beginning stages of manufacturing, the Snipe’s frame and drum are partially machined by a Computer Numerical Control machine. Then, in their roughed-out form, the frame and drum are mounted.

River Wraith

Hang this lightweight jewel of a reel on your favorite smallmouth or trout rod and finesse your way through secret pools and streams for summer angling pleasure. The River Wraith centerpin reel is offered in: 3 ¾ diameter left- or right-hand retrieve high-precision ABEC-7 ball bearings standard colour combinations are: silver spool with dark pewter.

The Labrador

Craig Lewis of Erie Outfitters, in collaboration with many of his fishing associates, contacted John Milner to create the perfect reel for the Great Lakes’ tributaries….the Labrador was born!
